In this 5-day Create Your Own Mermaid Skirt Challenge, you'll get 1 lesson a day, containing 1-3 doable action steps... and by the end of the week, you'll have your own mermaid skirt!
The entire project is broken down into doable steps, so you won't feel overwhelmed or confused.
Specifically, here's what you'll learn and do in this Challenge:
Before the challenge: Gather materials - you'll receive a list of materials ahead of time, so you can start creating right when the Challenge starts!
Day 1: Step by step pattern making - Custom pattern is super important for making a perfectly-fitting costume. I've made this pattern making as easy as possible with a brand new calculator! All you do is just plug in your measurements. So you can skip the math, and start creating :)
Day 2: Cut fabrics
Day 3: Learn how to sew stretch fabric like a pro - Practice and master stretch fabric sewing technique BEFORE you sew your skirt together, so you can avoid sewing machine fiasco! ;)
Day 4: Sew skirt panels
Day 5: Perfect the skirt length & finish up!- Finish up the skirt by adjusting the skirt length to perfection (using my simple technique so you don't need extra help), sew the waistband and hem.
